Travel Information and Local Map

The Island Fantasy Ball 2012 will be held at the Beban Park Social Centre located at 2300 Bowen Rd, Nanaimo.

Travel by Car and/or Ferry From BC Ferries Departure Bay Terminal take a sharp right exiting the terminal (follow signs to Parksville) to go up Brechin Road, then right at the second light to North Island Highway. At the next light go left on Northfield Road, then (at the top of the hill, about 1 km) right on Bowen Road. Beban Park is on the right a half block north at 2300 Bowen Road. From BC Ferries Duke Point, or points south, and from north of Nanaimo, follow the Nanaimo Parkway, Highway 19, and take the Northfield Road exit. Follow Northfield east about 0.5 km, then turn left on Bowen Road. Beban Park is on the right a half block north at 2300 Bowen Road.

Travel by Bus Greyhound provides regular scheduled services between Nanaimo and Victoria, Vancouver and other cities. Travel by Air West Coast Air offers regular scheduled flights between Nanaimo harbour and Vancouver downtown or airport.
